One of the most enduring traditions at Yucaipa High School is the
naming of the Hozoni Atet/Junior Usher class. Nomination to the
Hozoni Atet/Junior Ushers is based solely on academic performance.

Law and Public Safety Academy students gain valuable learning
experiences at Ben Clark (CalFire) Training Center. Learning for Life

The YHS Ham Radio club received a donation of money and
technical support from the local Ham radio group. The club,
organized by advisor Leann Williams, exposes YHS students
to the exciting world of radio communications.

YHS Health Academy at the UC Riverside School of Medicine

Health and Biomedical Sciences Academy students attended the
Open House at UC Riverside's School of Medicine whereámedical
students and facultyágave talks on gettingáinto medical school,
what it is like to be a medical student and current research.á Our
students also attended a number of demonstrations of training and
technology used at the school. University executives commented
on how professional and engaged the YHS students were.

Key Club at the State Capitol

YHS Key Club at the CALNEVHA district convention in
Sacramento this weekend. áStudents spent three days exploring
leadership and service ideas to bring back to our school. Students
attending were Jordan Barger, Talon Mahosky, CourtneyáCarlson,
Tiffany Scott, Grace Fogel, Jessica Saldana,áStephanie Pineda,
Danielle Hong. Students got to tour ourástate capitol before heading
back home on Sunday.á

Local Yucaipa artist Bob Walker added the long overdue finishing
touch to the Q Building Friday. A special T-Bird thank you goes
out to Charlie Rabico for his generous donation to the project.
