The Wizard of Oz will be presented from April 30 to May 2 at
6:30pm in the MPR. On May 3, two shows will be presented-at
1p.m. and 6:30p.m. Tickets at $7.
129 Peers and Peer Buddies from Yucaipa High School went to
the Best Buddies Prom at the National Orange Show this past
Friday night. 12 different high schools in the area also participated
in the wonderful evening.
Engineering students from YHS present their designs for a
pedestrian bridge to a panel of industry partners. Jacob White
and Campbell Harris won the competition.
Seniors: If you ordered graduation announcements and haven’t picked them up you can get them in the Activities office. If you have a balance due you must bring cash.
Calling all T-Birds: All this week Ms. Leemkuil will be having a fundraiser to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s research for a CURE. The prizes will include gift cards for local eateries, tanning sessions and salon treatments. Bring your $1 donation to room Q-201 before school, during break, at lunch or after school to help support this important life saving research.

Juniors: Starting tomorrow the PTSO will be pre-selling personalized parking spaces for the 2014/2015 Senior class. Come and get information and/or reserve your space before the school year ends. New lower prices and group rates will also be available. Express yourself and be eligible for scholarships.
ASB Applications for next years Student Council are due on Wednesday for elected positions.
Perfect attendance: Any student anticipating a perfect attendance award should check ABI or see Mrs. Maxwell in the Attendance office by Wednesday, April 23rd. You are allowed 5 period absences with no all day absences.
Attention all YHS students: The drama department's last Black Box fundraiser of the year is this Friday, April 25th at 5:30pm in G-105. Come to see us and then go to the beach dance at 7:00pm! Tickets for the Black Box are sold at the door and are $4. This is an important fundraiser for our awards and future productions. See Shakespeare scenes, monologues and other fun presentations. Junior and Senior girls: The deadline to turn in your Powder Puff football permission slip is tomorrow! Don’t miss your only opportunity to participate in the Powder Puff football game on May 23rd. Completed forms get turned in to Activities along with $30 for your jersey. You must be passing all your classes in order to pay for your jersey.

Attention Block Y members: We need a few more volunteers to work the Hall of Fame dinner on Saturday and the Soap Box Derby on May 3rd. If you need community service hours or Block Y points, this is a great chance to earn both. See Mrs. Calbreath in D-1 for details. Also, let's pack the gym today for our Boys Volleyball team!! Varsity starts at 4:30 against Redlands. Wednesday come out to support our Softball team against REV at 3:15 and Friday the baseball team takes on REV at 3:15. All 3 teams are battling for a CBL title so let's show our support!!
Attention College-Bound Juniors: YHS will be taking a field trip to the National College Fair, in Ontario, on Tuesday, April 29th. At the fair you will have the opportunity to talk with college representatives from all around the United States as well as a number of international colleges. You will learn how to select the right college for you, how to finance a College Education, information for the college-bound athlete, ACT/SAT test prep, and much more. If you are interested in joining us at the fair, pick up a field trip permission form for the Counseling office and return it no later than Friday, April 11 th . If you have questions, please see Mrs. Brossia in the Counseling office.
